I have all of my grandparent's original wedding photos. Their 60th Anniversary is tomorrow, so I recently scanned & printed out everything they had & put it into an album for them. Some of it is edited for the blog, but I tried to show as much of the layout details as possible. I try to use as much Creative Memories products as I can, since I feel that they are THE BEST, but I did pick up a few "cutesy" things at the scrapbook store, since I didn't have any CM products that were wedding or anniversary themed.
This is a black Creative Memories window album:
These are the pages I have so far:
One of the things I bought were these embroidered ribbon stickers:
They were super easy to use! Some are white & gray & the others are white & very light teal. I thought they were pretty. As always, click for more detail! I haven't printed out the stories I was going to put here yet. Guess I should work on that...
I just got some photos to make a page about her childhood that will go to the right of his ^
These are the cards & letters they had from their wedding showers:
Among the things I found in the box with their photos was the original typed transcript from my grandfather's father, the preacher. I retyped it on vellum & tied it into the album, so it would be easier to read. I still included the original too, but I bleeped it out because of the names:
This ribbon that I used was from a corsage my grandmother wore. I took it all apart & ironed it flat, to use it throughout the album. Here's the detail on those two pages:
I just got some more recent photos emailed to me, so I need to get them printed out & put into the album!
